Leah McCauley

After more than a decade in education, I traded lesson plans for floor plans— bringing with me the same heart for people, steady guidance, and deep commitment to meaningful connection.

I spent 13 years helping students and families navigate big transitions—starting out as an 11th grade History teacher, later teaching kindergarten, and eventually stepping into leadership as a high school associate principal and an assistant principal at an elementary school. I learned how to lead with empathy, listen with purpose, and turn uncertainty into a clear, confident path forward.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History from UTA, a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M (Whoop!), and a Post-Master’s in Educational Leadership. While it may look like I made a career pivot, the truth is—I’m still doing what I’ve always done: walking alongside people during major life moments, offering clarity, care, and honest support.

I truly believe the Lord has guided every step of that path—aligning my passions, preparing me through each season, and opening the door to serve others in a whole new way through real estate.

I spent 30 years in Arlington before settling in Joshua with my husband of 16 years, our two amazing boys (one with special needs), and our totally unhinged little dog named Fritz—yes, he’s always on the fritz. We love the outdoors, traveling in our RV, and finding new places to explore together. Outside of real estate, I’m passionate about creativity—especially writing fiction. I’ve always loved crafting stories and hope to one day publish a book that sparks imagination and connection. I also enjoy designing graphics in Canva, which adds a fun, creative edge to how I market homes and help my clients stand out. That same attention to detail and storytelling flows through everything I do.

As a lifelong home lover and proud Zillow scroller (strictly for fun—for years), real estate felt like a natural next step. But more than just loving houses, I’ve lived this process: I’ve bought, sold, built from the ground up, purchased land, and invested in rental property. I know what this journey really feels like—exciting, emotional, sometimes overwhelming—and I’m here to walk through it with you.

Whether you’re buying your first home, building your dream one, relocating, downsizing, or just feeling life nudging you into something new—I’d be honored to help. I’m not just here to open doors. I’m here to offer perspective, build trust, and help you move forward with confidence.

Let’s find the place where your next chapter begins.
