Phillip Trammell

I grew up in Vernon, Tx, which is a small, farm town that is the gateway to West Texas. My father is a jack of all trades, blue collar man, and my mom is a hard working, hospice nurse. I witnessed both their strong work ethic and ability to serve others, and I strived to emulate those traits as I grew up. After finishing high school, I attended Texas Tech University and received my bachelor’s degree in business administration. I learned a large amount about finance/real estate at school, but I think I learned just as much in the jobs I did along the way. During college I worked as a maintenance technician for a property management company. This job honed my skills in order to maintain and make-ready houses and apartments. It also helped sharpen my problem solving skills. Once I graduated college, I could not find the career in finance I was searching for, so I worked as a pest control applicator for a few years. This experience taught me how to physically work and also taught me how to create trusting relationships with clients. I feel I have the heart of a teacher, so I enjoyed determining their issue, creating a strategy, and explaining the strategy to them in detail. Many of my clients appreciated that approach. I eventually found a career in finance in wealth management. I picked up a great deal of knowledge in finance and real estate. On top of that, I learned the importance of organization and time management skills since so many of my tasks were time sensitive.

In 2009 I married my wonderful wife, Amanda Trammell, and we moved to Midlothian in 2014. We are now blessed with a pair of sweet, loving, twin girls that keep us plenty busy. We also have an old English sheep dog, Mosley, that keeps us all entertained. We love our quality time together which usually involves outdoors, extended family and friends, good food, and camping when we can.

I’m privileged that I have the opportunity to work with the Remington Team since we share the same core beliefs that are essential for success in this industry. I like our motto, “family taking care of family” which concisely sums up our credence. I will use my personal experience, skills, and knowledge to create a smooth, stress-free real estate transaction. I take my fiduciary duties seriously, and I will always strive to put my client’s needs first. I look forward to doing the same for you.
